We all made our own crumbles using a choice of apple, blackberries and blueberries. It took us a long time to peel and chop the apples and we definitely need more practise!! For the topping we all made our own and this time we didn't use scales we just added whatever we felt like. Ingredients included plain flour, cinnamon, butter, oats, and brown or white sugar. They were delicious.
Smartie sorting, estimating, division and fractions!!! Nobody has eaten one yet....!
Can we resist? We have a box of Smarties each to use in Maths this week. We are NOT allowed to eat them until Friday.....will we manage it?
We picked four new project managers and have a new challenge awaiting them.
Sigh...These look so tempting!
Hope you're all having a good weekend! Just a quick reminder that the theme of your project is entirely up to you. You can find about about something new or fill your file full of things that interest you....have fun. Some of you have asked whether you can carry on with them over the October break! No problem...we will look at them first week back instead of last week of term. It's good to see such enthusiasm! See you on Monday...I wonder who the new project manager's will be!? Well done to last weeks PM's - you all did a fantastic job. A reference is in the post! Mrs P
I am amazed and very proud of my class and the results of these entrepreneurs... in teams, led by a project manager, they all designed, advertised, presented, packaged, made, pitched and sold a new biscuit!!! We have another challenge next week. I can't wait to see how they respond to this one! Mrs P
